Edmodo is a free functional online collaborative learning space that promotes teaching and learning but is also private and secure. Recently Edmodo added Google Docs which makes the site even better! . Create a learning space within Edmodo, and within that space or environment you can collaborate, create documents, add many file types, assign and grade class work, give quizzes, and create polls.
