Many years ago a small red pencil drawing of a man’s portrait was tucked into a book. That drawing today is considered to be an original Leonardo Da Vinci. The story, research and the ownership of this drawing is quite interesting. Read more at CNN. Cardinal Placido Maria Tadini, the onetime archbishop of Genoa was the original owner of the drawing. From there, the story of the drawing’s ownership and authenticity took twists and turns. Until now….when a Milan Museum is about to prove that this artwork is indeed an Original DaVinci. Cristina Gerbino is the daughter of one of the sketch's present owners and she has created a website all about the drawing. Rediscovered Leonardo
