It’s been a remarkable experience to have been a part of the National Scholastic Art Awards this weekend in NY City! My Student won a National American Vision Award for her drawing “Lights” and we both got to take part in the National Awards ceremony and many wonderful events that go with winning a national Scholastic Art award. All the student artwork was amazing, and so inspiring to see as a Visual Art educator. If you have never entered your student’s work into the Scholastic Art awards you should really consider doing so because it’s such a great opportunity for them and you.
