Butterflies Unleashed in a Swarm!
“SWARM NYC” is a wonderful & whimsical Street Art installation full of butterflies created by Artist Tasha Lewis. Bursting with creativity and sure to inspire your students!
Check out this cool Street Art created on rails, grates and fencing. It’s called Zebrating, and it’s fashioned by a pair of German Artist’s by the same name “Zebrating” The process of creating these artworks is interesting and would be a fun lesson for Visual Art Class’s K-12. It involves creating the artwork first, cutting it up, and repositioning it onto a three dimensional surface like a railing or grid. Cool! Via Twisted Sifter
Matt Small is an unconventional Street Artist with brilliant talent. His Portraits are alternative, communicative, and important. Process is everything to him. He works on concrete, car hoods, and Metal. You will want your students to see his process and creativity in action. I can’t wait to show this video to my High School students. I learned about Matt onIllusion 360. Check out his website here.
