Vivian Maier’s work WILL be in Museums. It’s similar to the work of Diane Arbus but she was working before Diane Arbus. She has been compared to the greats! Vivian was a Nanny in Chicago, and lived in New York city for awhile…never married and kept to herself. Vivian never showed her phenomenal work to anyone. Thousands of images….were found….bought at an auction by a young real estate developer by the name of John Maloof…….most of the images discovered were never developed.
It’s an incredible story of a talent discovered….so great that it will add to the history of photograpy as we know it. In looking at Vivian’s work….I’m truly inspired and amazed that it has not ever been seen! I think you will enjoy it!
