When I want to show a video that I found on YouTube for my classroom, I use the following tools to convert it, save it as a universal file format and download it to my laptop. Then save and transport it to school and replay it in my classroom.
Mac or PC…these converters work with both platforms.
Keepvid is great. You just put in the URL and download
HDDownloader works the same way and requires a plugin
ZamZar is my favorite because not only does it convert videos, it converts many other files as well.
